Hampshire Alert

Want to know more about crime and community information where you live?

The communities of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight play a key role in helping us to prevent and detect crime and anti-social behaviour. Improving the flow of information between the community and the police is vital to achieving our aim to work together to deter criminals and keep communities safe.

The sites - www.hampshirealert.co.ukwww.hampshirecountrywatch.co.uk and www.iowalert.co.uk allow you to register to become a recipient of messages of information, crime alerts and witness appeals local to the area in which you live or work in a way that suits your needs and lifestyle by email, text or telephone. Just click on the REGISTER button on any of the sites to sign up.

Hampshire Alert, Hampshire Country Watch and Isle of Wight Alert are free web based systems which you can sign up to and choose what information you want to receive and in what format – email, text or phone message – so the ‘alert’ is personal to you.

The Alert system is also linked to the Neighbourhood Watch network so anyone in a scheme can also access information about their specific Watch and neighbourhood teams can communicate directly with the database of members.

Hampshire Alert is nothing like Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site. All the information is kept secure and private; you do not need to set up a social page or add pictures.

Once registered, members only need to log into the system to update their details or preferences. Alerts will be sent to their chosen email or phone number.
